Our Badminton Club began in 2015 and started as a social group playing once a week.

​

We welcome beginners, improvers and experienced players over 18 years old. 

 

Leinster Badminton and Badminton Ireland have provided terrific support to establish the club and help with ongoing development.

 

The success of the club has been recognised by being nominated for Badminton Union of Ireland Best New Club of the Year in both the 2015 and 2016 seasons.

We are now in our third season and have grown to over 60 members.

 

In 2017/18 we had 9 teams across divisions 6 to 9.

​

We have had a number of teams progress to the later stages of the Leinster League and Cup competitions. The highlights of which were;

• Ladies first team won both League and Cup in Division 10 in 2016 

• Ladies first team won both League and Cup in Division 7 in 2017

• Ladies first team won Cup and were runners up in Division 6 in 2018
